“The great outdoors and scenery make the Island a great place to live, it’s ideal for kids to grow up and families in general.
My favourite place on the Island has got to be St Boniface Down, the view from there on a clear day is amazing.
My favourite event has to be Rhythmtree – but then I am a little biased! It is a great family festival, there’s nothing quite like it.
Growing up on the Isle of Wight, we practically lived on the beach during the summer holidays, as there are so many water sports you can do here. In the winter we’d
go on long walks with the dog or bike rides.
If I only had an hour on the Island, I’d probably go paddleboarding on Newtown Creek, or go on a bike ride with the family through The Undercliff from Niton to Ventnor Botanic Garden. We’re lucky to have so many great places to go as a family on the Island.”
