Vacancy: Environmental Analyst

We are seeking an Environmental Analyst to join us in our Head Office in Portsmouth. This role will span all departments but primarily Health & Safety and Engineering. You will identify, lead and report using data driven analysis, on environmental and sustainability initiatives within the business.

Key elements of the role are:

  • Lead the implementation and inputting of accurate environmental data into schemes and programmes the company has to comply with such as UK MRV (Monitoring, Review and Verification), SECR (Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting), ESOS (Energy Savings Opportunities Scheme), etc.
  • Lead the environmental and social annual submission data input of the Company’s GRESB (Global Real Estate Sustainable Benchmarking)
  • Lead and manage both internal and external auditing and verification of environment schemes that the Company adheres to
  • Working with Estates and Engineering, develop energy saving initiatives with the Company’s assets and infrastructure
  • Assist in creating, managing and reviewing the Company’s environmental strategy
  • Keep ahead of changes to environmental developments especially legislation and how that might impact the business
  • Develop and implement an environmental management systems

What we’re looking for

  • Qualifications or a Degree in an environmental/statistics/analytical subject would be an advantageous or relevant experience
  • Knowledge of environmental law
  • Comfortable presenting to Senior Leaders
  • Resilient and driven with the confidence to challenge, appropriately and drive company initiatives within the environmental space
  • Highly organised and capable of working to deadlines
  • Analytical thinker with an interest in data driven research
