Evening FastCats and Lymington timetable changes

We’re adding late evening sailings between Portsmouth Harbour and Ryde Pier Head to our 2023 timetable, starting Monday, 27 March.

There are also some small tweaks to our Lymington – Yarmouth route designed to allow for better train connections on the mainland. Find out more about these changes below.

The extra FastCat sailings will be:

21:20 and 22:45 from Portsmouth Harbour
22:00 and 23:10 from Ryde Pier Head

Crossings will also be hourly throughout the day, Monday to Sunday.

You can also continue to travel on our car ferries as a foot passenger. The 22:15 and 23:59 crossings from Portsmouth to Fishbourne (returning at 23:00 and 01:00) complement the scheduled FastCats to offer extra sailings to and from the Isle of Wight.

Lymington - Yarmouth timetables

To give you more time to make train connections at Lymington Pier, we’ve made some adjustments to our timetables, starting 27 March 2023.

The 18:00, 19:00 and 20:00 ferries from Lymington to Yarmouth will depart five minutes later to help those arriving at the port by train. The return sailings from Yarmouth will leave ten minutes past the hour.
